The ISSA Domestic CSD Working Group recently investigated the challenges for Domestic CSDs in achieving significant market changes with external stakeholders, bringing together their collective insights and best practices for such initiatives. The result?  The Managing Change paper – a comprehensive guide to help Domestic CSDs navigate each stage of these initiatives—from initial communication through to post-implementation.  Here is the video also in case you missed it.

This paper presents a framework for Domestic CSDs who are looking to implement Market Change successfully, with minimal operational disruption, while avoiding unintended consequences. It outlines best practices for rules, systems and processes and is intended to support improvements in Stakeholder outcomes, risk management, and the efficiency of local markets within the Securities Services industry more generally.
