The ISSA Board and CEO Office are delighted to invite you to the 22^nd ISSA Symposium. This prestigious conference will offer a unique opportunity for attendees to physically meet their industry peers and discuss the key topics that are driving the Securities Services industry. 

After the success of the 21^st Symposium at Wolfsberg, we are thrilled to be able to secure the attendees’ ‘favourite venue’ again. We look forward to welcoming you personally at Wolfsberg, Switzerland for the 2025 event.

Please read through all of the information below which provides the details you need to plan and to register.

Invitees

The Symposium is a unique experience due to the seniority and expertise of the attendees.

• This invitation is addressed to you personally as the ISSA Member Representative for your organization
• If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate a senior deputy to participate in your place
• If you wish to nominate additional senior-level participants from your company, please ask them to register and we will do our best to accommodate them
• Please note that due to the interactive nature of the agenda, participation in the Symposium is only possible in person and there will be no virtual element to the proceedings
• We regret that we will not be able to accommodate accompanying persons at Wolfsberg during the Symposium, nor do we provide a spouse programme

Symposium Programme and Related Documents

The agenda for this year’s Symposium is entitled ‘Shaping Securities Services – Clients, Risks and Technologies’.

The Securities Services industry is evolving rapidly, and ISSA’s core mission is to connect, collaborate and change the industry in a positive way for all participants. The aim of this Symposium is that you and your peers discuss how we can enable an environment where our clients are served better, the risk within the industry is reduced and technology is deployed appropriately.

There will be a great set of panellists attending, with interesting – and diverse – viewpoints on the financial industry, as well as some of the most knowledgeable speakers from the Securities Services business and beyond. Additionally, there will be the opportunity for the attendees to discuss some of the key themes impacting the industry at present.

All registered Symposium participants will receive additional information and pre-reading material closer to the event.

Symposium Fee

The Symposium fee remains CHF 4000 per participant.

The fee covers:

• Conference attendance and related documents
• Accommodation at Wolfsberg Conference Centre (two nights of the 6 and 7 May)
• All meals and drinks as per the conference agenda
• ISSA-organized coach transportation between Zürich Airport and the venue

Accommodation

ISSA has already arranged accommodation for participants at the Wolfsberg Conference Centre. When you register, your room will be reserved for you. Please do not book rooms directly with Wolfsberg as the accommodation is included in the Symposium Fee.

Registration and Billing Process

• If attending, please fill in all details. If not attending, please just confirm the first section providing your contact details. This will ensure that we do not chase you to confirm attendance at a later date
• If you are unable to attend personally, have your deputy fill in their details. This form can also be used to register additional delegates of your institution that are interested in attending
• The invoice for the Symposium fee will be sent to you after registration. The deadline for the payment is 30 days after registration

Please return the registration form(s) at your earliest opportunity but at the latest by 15 February 2025.

ISSA Coach Transportation to and from Wolfsberg

Coach transportation from Zurich airport to Wolfsberg will be arranged by ISSA for those who wish to use it.

• The coach transportation will be available during the morning of 06 May
• Return transportation to the airport will be available during the afternoon of 08 May 
• If you require a transfer, please include this information in the registration form
  • If you select “transfer”, and already have your flight or train arrival and departure details available, please provide the information in the registration
  • Alternatively, if you still need to book your transport into Zurich, we will send you a separate request during the month of March asking you to provide us with the flight or train details
  • ISSA will inform you individually about the meeting point and the departure time of your bus at Zurich airport to Wolfsberg before the event, once your transport details have been received
  • The departure details for the transfer from Wolfsberg back to Zurich airport will be announced during the Symposium
• Please note that a taxi ride from Zurich to Wolfsberg will cost around CHF 300 in each direction. It will be the responsibility of participants to both organize and pay for taxi journeys – or any other form of transfer – themselves if they choose not to use the coaches.

Cancellations

Please notify the ISSA CEO Office as soon as possible if circumstances require you to cancel your registration.

• Cancellations should be emailed to Miriam Breil at Miriam.breil@issanet.org
• In the event of the need to cancel, you should ensure that you receive an email from Miriam confirming receipt of your cancellation
• If you are unable to nominate a delegate, the full conference fee will be refunded, provided your cancellation arrives no later than 31 March 2025
