ISSA Symposium – 2018

An all-time high of 129 senior delegates from ISSA member and non-member firms attended our 19th Symposium that took place in Zurich from 23 to 25 May this year. The participants represented 76 institutions from 36 different countries. The theme chosen for this year’s biennial event was “Securities Services Industry: Disrupted?”

Disruptive forces and trends as well as opportunities were discussed in panels and distinct breakout groups. The most important take-aways from the Symposium form part of the ISSA 19 Summary Report written by Dominic Hobson. Various spontaneous feedbacks during and after the Symposium as well as a formal survey among the participants revealed very high marks, particularly in terms of chosen topics, pre-reading material and organizational aspects.
