Future of Securities Services Working Group
Scope
The WG has finished its work for 2021. It will be reconvened in autumn 2022 to revise the paper – looking at the predictions and seeing which have come true in the period, which were wrong and what new is on the horizon.
The elements for the FSS Project, which are not already under an existing WG, will be taken forward under two new thematic Working Groups, grouped under the «interoperability» nomenclature these will be:
1. Digitization of Securities Services
- Digitization standards
- APIs
- Private Markets
- DLT (although a WG in its own right, and will continue as such)
2. Data Standards
- ESG standards
- DLT Standards (linked with Digitization)
- ISO standards from the ISO stream (linked with Digitization and DLT)
